At Bright Ridge we feel each child is an individual who has their own needs, strengths, interests and abilities.  With this knowledge we address the ‘whole child’ – a holistic approach, creating curriculum to meet each child’s needs.

We know that play is essential to development, as it contributes to the cognitive, physical, social, and emotional well being of children. However, there is more to children’s play then first meets the eye.  Behind the scenes they are working hard, problem solving, skill building as well as overcoming physical and mental challenges. Bright Ridge will thrive on offering a high quality early childhood program in a secure and healthy environment, and with our emphasis on self-selected activities, each child can figure out what works best for them as individuals.

Our devoted staff of Early Childhood Educators will be there to guide and support each child throughout the day, as well as focus on what is ideal for the whole group. They will work hard to insure that through age appropriate activities and real materials, children can find there own interests and flourish using both child-centered and teacher-directed activities, as well as hands on concrete experiences.

At Bright Ridge our goal is to place emphasis on the process rather than the product, fostering a sense of accomplishment and pride in each child. Our staff will be there to encourage children to think for themselves, make decisions, problem solve and express their ideas and emotions. They not only set up the room and activities each day, but will also offer a warm and caring atmosphere for children and their parents.
